My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness

Chapter 404

To the military, the Dragon Warlord Token was the ultimate authority!

The Western Forces had no choice but to obey.

"Western Forces, arrest the General!"

Dustin ordered coldly as he held the Dragon Warlord Token aloft.

The soldiers hesitated. They felt conflicted.

Gary was their leader. He was the man who had raised and guided them.

But they had to turn against him.

"What do you intend to do with the General?" the soldier standing closest to Dustin asked him.

He was the deputy general of the Western forces. Gary himself gave him that position.

"That's not for you to question," Dustin said coldly.

"Whoever defies me shall die!"

The deputy general sighed helplessly.

"The Dragon Warlord has spoken. Arrest the General immediately. Disobedience will be met with execution!" he shouted.

"Understood!"

Most of the soldiers turned their weapons toward the helicopter.

To the soldiers of Lovellia, the Dragon Warlord Token outranked even the highest orders from Central Harbor.

Even an edict from the royals could not rival the authority and power of the Dragon Warlord Token.

Still, a handful of Gary's loyalists stood firm and shielded the helicopter.

“General, go now!" they cried.

With some assistance, Gary climbed aboard as his face paled.

His heart burned with anger and pain as he watched his own army turn against him, especially the deputy general.

He was left with only one thought, 'I have to survive this!'

"Kill them!"

Dustin's voice echoed.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The loyalists in front of the helicopter were shot down, and their bodies were riddled with bullets.

But the helicopter had already lifted off.

"Fire a missile!" the deputy general ordered.

"No need," Dustin said and raised a hand.

In a single jump, Dustin leaped several feet into the air and grabbed onto the helicopter that was about a few feet away from the ground.

"Get down here!"

With a roar, he single-handedly dragged the helicopter back to the ground.

The soldiers were stunned.

Was he even human?

The helicopter crashed, and Gary tumbled out. His injuries worsened as he struggled to move.

He was barely clinging to life.

Dustin approached and towered over him.

Gary managed a bitter smile.

His overconfidence had sealed his fate.

"Where did you get the Dragon Warlord Token?" he asked as he struggled to breathe.

"This?" Dustin said casually as he

twirled the Token in his hand. "My

adoptive father had a few close

e

friends. They are still my godfathers. As for this Token... one of them gave it to me as a keepsake. He thought it'd make for an interesting toy."

Gary's eyes widened in disbelief.

A token capable of commanding a million troops... a toy?

"Your godfather is the Dragon Warlord?!" he asked in disbelief.

That legendary figure of the military had vanished for over two decades. How

survold he have taken the

surviving descendant of the Eox family as his disciple?

Dustin's face remained indifferent.noveldrama

"Maybe," he said indifferently.

He always knew that none of his godfathers were ordinary men.

It was only after he founded Hell Hall that he realized the token in his possession was the Dragon Warlord Token.

As for the Martial League's Supreme Token? That had been a gift from another godfather.

Apart from these, Dustin also held several other trinkets. Each was reserved for its moment to shine when the time was right.

"Ugh..."

Triggered by sheer indignation, Gary spat out another mouthful of blood.

"Fate... is cruel..." With that, he closed his eyes for the last time.

Dustin frowned.
