I rushed into the room, a bowl of soup in my hands, only to freeze in my tracks at the sight before me. Aurora was lying unconscious on the floor.

My heart sank. “Aurora!” I shouted, dropping the soup without a second thought as I ran to her.

I knelt down, gently lifting her limp body and placing her head on my lap. My hands trembled as I touched her pale cheek, my voice breaking as I called out to her.

“Aurora! Babe, wake up! Please!”

Her eyes remained closed, her body unresponsive. Panic clawed at me as I quickly got to my feet, scooping her up in my arms. I bolted out of the room, heading straight for the doctors office in. the pack house.

“Doctor!” I bellowed as I approached, Aurora cradled against my chest. But when I reached the door, I found it locked.

“Dammit!” I cursed, kicking at the door in frustration. “Why the hell is this locked?” Growling under my breath, I turned and sprinted toward the hospital in the pack’s village, desperate for help.

As I ran through the streets, people turned to watch, their expressions shifting from curiosity to concern.

“Out of my way!” I thundered as I barreled through the marketplace. The once bustling atmosphere fell silent, the crowd parting to let me pass through with Aurora in my arms.

Ahead, the hospital came into view–a structure I’d built for the pack, along with schools and improved roads. But none of that mattered now. Right now, all that mattered was Aurora. Just the thought of life without her would drive me crazy immediately.

“Doctor!” I roared as I burst through the hospital doors. The nurses snapped into action immediately, rushing toward me with a stretcher.

I carefully laid Aurora on it, my hands lingering on her as they pushed her toward the treatment room. One of the nurses barked instructions to another, sending them running ahead to fetch the doctor.

I kept pace beside Aurora, clutching her hand tightly, my thumb brushing over her knuckles. “Aurora… please, open your eyes,” I whispered, my voice cracking. “Just blink. Just show me you’re okay. Please, babe…”

When we reached the ward, the doctor was already waiting. The nurses wheeled Aurora inside, and as I tried to follow, her hand slipped from mine.

“Wait here, Alpha Dane,” the doctor said, holding me back.

“WHAT?!” I snapped, my voice a deep growl.

“I need to know what happened to her first,” he explained cautiously.

I rubbed my temples, trying to keep my temper in check, though frustration was eating me alive. “She wasn’t feeling well earlier,” I began, my words rushed. “She vomited and felt cold, so I took her to rest. When I went to get her some soup, I came back and found her unconscious on the floor.”

The doctor nodded thoughtfully. “I understand. Please take a seat while I-”

“Forget it,” I cut him off, my glare sharp. “I’m coming in with you. That’s final.”

He hesitated, then sighed. “Alright, come in.”

I didn’t wait for further permission. I followed them into the room, rushing to Aurora’s bedside. I grabbed her hand and kissed it, pressing it against my cheek.

“I’m here now, baby,” I murmured, my voice filled with raw emotion. “I’m here. I won’t leave you.”

Looking up, I locked eyes with the doctor. “Do something. Wake her up already.”

The doctor nodded, getting to work, while I closed my eyes and clasped both hands together, holding Aurora’s between them.

“Goddess,” I whispered hoarsely, my head bowed. “I know I don’t come to you often… but Aurora is your chosen. She’s your faithful worshipper. Please, save her. Save her for me. Please…”

I wasn’t sure how long I prayed, but the sound of her voice snapped me out of my desperation.

“Dane…”

My eyes flew open to find Aurora’s, barely open, staring back at me with a weak smile. Relief flooded me, though my heart ached at how pale and fragile she looked.

I cupped her face gently, my thumb brushing her cheek. “Babe,” I breathed, kissing her forehead and then her lips. “Thank the goddess you’re conscious. How do you feel?”

“I’m okay,” she replied softly, her voice dry. “Why do you worry so much over nothing?”

I frowned, leaning in to kiss her lips again. “Nothing? How can I not worry when you say you’re fine in that tone? Do you even realize how you look right now?”

She sighed, her eyelids fluttering. “This will pass soon… I’ll be fine.” Glancing around, she asked, “Where am I? This doesn’t look like the pack doctor’s office.”

“This is the general hospital,” I explained. “The doctor’s office was locked, so I brought you here instead.”

“Oh,” she murmured, her expression softening. “You didn’t have

to go through so much trouble for me.”

The doctor cleared his throat, drawing my attention. “Alpha Dane, may I have a word in my office?”

I nodded, leaning down to kiss Aurora’s forehead again. “Rest, my love. I’ll be right back.” Turning to the nurse beside me, I ordered, “Take care of her.” The nurse nodded in

acknowledgment.

I followed the doctor to his office, where he gestured for me to sit.

“Just tell me,” I said, leaning over his desk, my hands planted firmly on it. “What’s wrong with her?”

The doctor folded his hands, his expression calm but serious. “Luna Aurora is fine, Alpha Dane, but from now on, she needs plenty of rest and care.”

My brows furrowed in confusion. “What are you saying? What’s going on with her?” noveldrama

The doctor’s lips curved into a smile. “Congratulations, Alpha Dane. Luna Aurora is Three weeks pregnant.”

The words hit me like a bolt of lightning. I staggered back, gripping the chair for support.

“Pregnant? With a baby?”

The doctor chuckled. “Yes, Alpha. Congratulations. Another

baby is on the way.”
